Connection of PORBIOTA and LifeWatch-PT
LifeWatch-Portugal is managed by PORBIOTA. PORBIOTA will provide a significant contribution to advance scientific knowledge in biodiversity and to raise the international impact of Portuguese research in this field, acting on a national level while taking improvement of international collaborations and partnerships and by joining efforts with LifeWatch-ERIC to fulfil its mission. PORBIOTA and LifeWatch-ERIC are expected to work as a driving force, contributing to scientific knowledge development and technology innovation built on excellence, based on cooperation and networking at national and international levels, promoting the development of competences regarding the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to support the mobilization and analysis of biodiversity and ecosystem services.
